Shark finning is cruel, wasteful and putting shark species at risk of extinction. The United States properly decided to ban the trade of ivory and rhino horns—yet we still import and export shark fins, which are the result of an equally brutal practice. To protect sharks, we need to end the demand for shark fins. It is time for Congress to pass a bill to end the shark fin trade in the United States. #FinBanNow
